Lonnie War is off to a record breaking year. By the end of the year they will have performed for over one million excited, enthusiastic fans. Some highlights; On Memorial weekend they played for capacity crowds at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, headlining the two day Latin Legends show. Mitchell

War at ALMA Awards That night they had to skip the after party to get on a plane headed to DC for the Capitol Jazz Festival. Later in June they played the Aspen Jazz Festival at Shoreline in San Jose, and the Kumba Black Heritage Festival in Knoxville.

War The Band In July they played at the nationally acclaimed Summer Fest in Milwaukee, and the UFO Festival in Roswell, New Mexico where no aliens abducted the band or road crew.

That was followed by the Omaha Jazz Festival, the Santa Barbra County Fair and the advance sell out concert at the Casino Del Soul in Phoenix.

In August WAR appeared in front of an estimated attendance of 100,000 people at a special performance for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Dallas, then for the first time ever they played at the Sturgis Bike Rally.

In September WAR will perform at the New Mexico State Fair on the 10th and the K-Earth Los Angeles Historic Birthday Bash on the 15th at the Verizon Amphitheater. They will share the stage with the Doobie Brothers, Chicago, the Stylistics and the Four Tops.

WAR will end their 2007 record breaking year at the San Manuel Casino in San Bernardino.

Hold on and buckle up your seat because in 2008 WAR will be bringing fans a big surprise, one that we have all been waiting years to see.
